In 2000 scientist built a house and then hit it with a man made earth quake and blasts of air like a cyclone .They carefully watched and measured the effects their results suggested new ways of building houses . For example using more nails at some points ,placing Frame work differently and building frames that move a little instead of snapping. The CSIRO’s research will help people around the world to create safer homes that survive natural disasters
